In my second day in Berlin, I started by getting to know the side of the city which is known as the place where the city was born. It was a very picturesque setting that transports us to an other era. In that day we chose to explore the surroundings of the city. We went up to the top of Siegessäule, a commemorative obelisk, that was a lovely view of Tiergarten, the city park. It was really worth it, but since me and exercise don't really get along, going up and down 285 steps was enough exercise for a month! Still in that area we visited a lovely palace in Charlottenburg! I was really sad about not being able to take pictures to share with you. At the end of the day we went back to the central area and we stopped ate the Mall of Berlin. We had dinner there and we tried Currywurst. It was a very tiring day, but very pleasant!
