Oscars 2014 - Style Icons

Hi guys! As you may know, the Oscars were last Sunday and we stayed up all night to watch. It was totally worth it, as it was a really fun and memorable night. First of all Ellen Degeneres is absolutely fantastic and had us laughing all night long, and secondly it was a great night when it comes to fashion. We honestly couldn't point out any bad outfit and everyone looked really glamorous.

Olá!! Como todos sabem, os Óscares foram no Domingo e passámos a noite toda acordadas para assistir. Sem dúvida que valeu a pena visto que foi uma noite muito divertida e memorável. Em primeiro lugar, a Ellen Degeneres é absolutamente fantástica e fez-nos rir do início ao fim e, em segundo lugar, foi uma noite incrível no que toca à moda. Honestamente fomos incapazes de apontar vestidos desenquadrados.

Lupita Nyong'o in Prada - For us, this is definitely the best look of the night. This light and flowing garment wouldn't fit anybody else and this color is absolutely stunning and hard to pull off. This award season, Lupita became well-known for the amazing use of bold colors in her dresses and this was the cherry on top of the cake. She really stood out and for the best reasons. This is why they should really create a category for "Sassiest Gal", she would have it in the bag!

Lupita Nyong'o em Prada - Para nós, este é definitivamente o melhor look da noite. Este vestido leve e esvoaçante não ficaria bem a mais ninguém e esta cor é absolutamente maravilhosa e difícil de usar. Nesta temporada de prémios, Lupita destacou-se pelo uso fantástico de cores ousadas nos seus vestidos e este foi a cereja no topo do bolo. Definitivamente que sobressaíu pelos melhores motivos. Esta é a razão pela qual deviam criar uma categoria de "Sassiest Gal" pois ela ganhava-a de caras!

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior - As always, Jennifer stands out for the right reasons (except that time she fell...Oh wait, the two times). This dress is really elegant and accentuates her great figure and the color is really flattering for her skin tone. Her hair looks really good and next time we go out we're definitely going to try to use our necklaces backwards (or maybe not).

Jennifer Lawrence em Dior - Como sempre, Jennifer sobressai pelos melhores motivos (exceto daquela vez que caiu... Oh espera, das duas). Este vestido é muito elegante, acentua a sua ótima figura e esta cor fica muito bem no seu tom de pele. O seu cabelo está muito bonito e da próxima vez vamos tentar usar os nossos colares para trás (ou não).

Emma Watson in Vera Wang - If there was an award for the edgier look of the night, it would go to Emma. This is a girl that never disappoints us. The mixture of fabrics, the bold lips and the messy hair were the right recipe for success.

Emma Watson em Vera Wang - Se houvesse um prémio para o look mais arriscado da noite iria definitivamente para Emma Watson. Esta rapariga nunca nos desilude. A mistura de tecidos, os lábios pintados de vermelho e o cabelo despenteado foram a receita perfeita para o sucesso.
