Heey!! Tal como vos tinha dito no meu último post, este mês fui de férias para Berlim. Foi a primeira vez que fui à Alemanha e fiquei muito bem impressionada! Achei os locais muito simpáticos e prestáveis e gostei muito da arquitectura da cidade, ainda mais se pensarmos que se trata de uma cidade que foi derrubada na Segunda Guerra Mundial e que mais tarde foi dividida pelo famoso Muro de Berlim. Cheguei ao meu destino num sábado à noite e domingo começámos logo a visitar. A primeira coisa que fizemos foi dar um passeio pela cidade num autocarro turístico, para ficar com uma ideia global e para perceber o que queríamos ver em primeiro lugar e valeu mesmo a pena. Depois deste percurso andamos a passear pela avenida Unter Den Linden até chegarmos à Porta de Brandenburg, uma antiga porta da cidade e uma das suas mais antigas referências. Passámos pelo Memorial ao Holocausto, um local que achei muito marcante, pelo Checkpoint Charlie e por mais uns quantos edifícios emblemáticos e terminámos o dia na Praça Potsdamer, onde visitámos o Sony Center e onde aproveitámos para nos refugiar do calor. Andámos muito a pé e chegámos exaustos ao hotel, mas com a certeza de que no dia a seguir tínhamos muito para ver!

Heey!! Like I told you in my last post, this month I went to Berlin on holidays. It was the first time I visited Germany and I was very impressed! I thought the locals were really nice and helpful and I loved the architecture, even more if you consider that we're talking about a city overthrown by World War II and that was later divided by the famous Berlin Wall. We got to our destination on a Saturday night and on Sunday morning we were already visiting. The first thing we did was taking a tour on a sightseeing bus, so we could have a global idea and to help us figure out what we wanted to visit first and it was really worth it. After that we walked down Unter Den Linden avenue until we got to the Brandenburg Gate, one of the old city gates and one of its oldest references. We passed by the Holocaust Memorial, a place I though was very  remarkable, by Checkpoint Charlie and by some other emblematic buildings and we finished the day at the Potsdamer Platz, where we visited the Sony Center and where we escaped from the heat. We walked big distances by foot and when we got to the hotel we were exhausted, but we were sure that the next day we still had a lot to see!
